The Alliance has done what our elected official have failed to. We have taken a group of people who in some cases, are as different as night and day and come together to work for positive change. We utilize the strengths of those who have joined, and respect that comfort zones are different for each person. We did not wake up one morning and decide to stand up and protect our families, neighbors, and property. Each person has a different story. Please join us, every person counts, no matter how much you can help. Multiple failures of the energy companies created us, now they can live with us. The diversity of knowledge and talent has only made us stronger.
Tell me how I can join. I am willing to help.

One thing every parent has in common is that they will fight with everything they have to protect their children. Many of us have had our family and homes threatened by the oil and gas industry and that creates an instant bond. People on the outside who do not yet feel threatened do not understand. But, once this industry gets closer to all they hold dear then I have no doubt they will join the cause as well. It is just unfortunate that the empathy and support isn’t there until it arrives at their front or back door. At that point its too late and the damage is already done. Argyle has forever been changed and it is truly heart breaking. Public apathy is one of the strongest thing the oil and gas industry has going for it.
The group plans the content. Five different people write for the blog. Photos and videos are provided by several others. Tips have come from alliance members and elsewhere in the community.
If you have a specific question about a specific post, you might try contacting us through the blog for an answer.
Who is Brad Fenley?
He’s the same guy who asked where the Land Farming was on the other side of 35.
Brad is a 26 year resident of Argyle. 212 N. Gibbons Road. Just wondering who writes these articles.
Brad, when you nominate us for a Nobel Peace Prize, you can nominate as a group. : )
Thank you for reading the ABCA site, please spread the word so we can keep advocating for a safe and healthy environment and preserve our communities’ quality of life.
Thanks, Runner. Brad Fenley, 212 N Gibbons Road, Argyle, TX
Some are newcomers; some have lived here for decades.
If I offended the group by asking questions. I am sorry and please accept my apologies. Brad Fenley
Brad, We encourage questions, hopefully our answers didn’t offend you. : )
Ditto on what Runner Susan said. No apologies necessary. We are your neighbors and we care.
“We are your neighbors and we care.” – better trademark that, Williams might take it.
Williams, nearly 30 days without a spill, they ARE good.
Williams has accomplished some things no other company probably could. I have met people of an opposing political party I used to write off. If it wasn’t for Williams, I would not have met hundreds of people I now unite with, attend meetings with, and vote with to protect the most sacred thing of all, our families and the places they call home. So congrats Williams, you’ve managed to unite 2 of the most diverse groups of people around. They have dropped their normal activism and now they focus their ire solely on you.
FM – Maybe we should figure out how to drill on all the politicians property and ruin the things they love, maybe, just maybe, they would sit down, compromise and act in the best interest of the Americans they are elected to serve. I can dream, can’t I?
